Preparations are continuing at Glaslyn Ospreys to get ready to open for the new season on Monday 28 March.
Work on the replacement hide nears completion and Trustees, Volunteers and Visitor Centre Manager Heather Corfield are pictured outside the new building on Saturday 5 March.
The project was possible thanks to the incredible support for a public appeal last summer to raise £35,000 towards its construction.
The hide at the Pont Croesor site will improve viewing facilities for the thousands of people who visit every year to see ospreys and other wildlife in the Glaslyn Valley.
From the hide, visitors will have clear views of the Glaslyn osprey nest, home to Mrs G and her partner Aran. It will also be an excellent vantage point for the nearby Pont Croesor (Friends of the Ospreys) nest where another pair of ospreys successfully bred for the first time last year.
The Pont Croesor Centre will open at 10.30am on Monday 28 March and is open every day of the week until the birds migrate in September.
