Bywyd Gwyllt Glaslyn Wildlife (BGGW) is a not-for-profit, community based, environmental and wildlife charity, located near Porthmadog. The charity is primarily concerned with the success of breeding ospreys in the Glaslyn valley but it also provides facilities for people to see and learn more about ospreys and wildlife in the area

The Board of Trustees has legal responsibility for the governance of the charity, and each year it invites interested individuals to join them on the Board. Becoming a trustee gives individuals the opportunity to play a constructive role in the management of the charity and its development. By contributing your skills and knowledge, you will play an important part in BGGW’s effectiveness.

The Board welcomes individuals who are able to offer a wide range of skills including, but not exclusively, the following: financial management, fundraising expertise, marketing and communications skills or a general background in charity work. If you possess any of these skills or any others which you can bring with you then please get in touch.

The Board will be electing new Trustees at its AGM which will be held in December and so any expressions of interest should be made before the middle of October. Anyone interested must either be an existing member of the charity or be prepared to become one.

If you would like to have further information or to discuss matters please contact the Chairman at gwynharrison@btinternet.com.
