Last Friday the team from BBC Countryfile came to film a feature on the Glaslyn Ospreys. John Craven and his team arrived at the Visitor Centre early in the morning and proceeded to interview Project Manager Gruff Owen before being treated to a display of nest building by Children from the Penrhyndeudraeth group of Gwerin y Coed, aided by Darren Moore of Friends of the Ospreys.
The film crew then travelled on a private Welsh Highland Railway steam train from Pont Croesor to the protection site, where they interviewed volunteer Nicola Bee about her role.
The weather was glorious, and a good time was had by all.
The feature will be shown as part of a special Snowdonia edition of Countryfile which airs on Sunday May 29th at 7pm on BBC1.
