Its February and I can feel a restlessness and anticipation rising in you, our loyal supporters, for the first glimpse of the indomitable Mrs G at Glaslyn in 2018. Mrs G has bred at Glaslyn for 14 years, during this time 33 chicks have successfully fledged. She now has 62 recorded grandchildren.
I know you share our awe at Mrs G’s dedication, bravery and intelligence. She is unique among Ospreys.
Our mission is to make 2018 another success story and so, again, we are asking for your support so that Ospreys can continue to thrive at Pont Croesor bringing pleasure to so many of you far and wide. The upkeep and running costs of the
Visitor Centre and Protection programme take significant resources, some £1000 per week.
The Annual Harlech Triathlon is a major fundraiser for us and for the third year we have a team entered for the event on Sunday, March 25th. Gwen(swimmer) Gail(cyclist) and Glynis(runner). The team are all Glaslyn Osprey Volunteers.
Their combined ages may be 189 years but they are fearless!
We thank you in advance for your support, which is key to our continuing existence. Our target is to raise £5000, your donations- large or small can achieve this goal.
We have raised £200 already, let’s get to that £5000 together!
Remember to tag your donation ‘Triathlon’.
